Questions about this model

How do I size the panel array for my borehole depth?

Send us borehole depth, static water level, required daily volume and pipe diameter. Rule of thumb: 1.35 kWp of panels per kW of pump for 40 m, and about 1.75 kWp per kW for 80 m head.

Does it work on cloudy days?

It pumps at reduced flow when irradiance drops, because the MPPT tracks the lower power point. For 24/7 demand we quote a hybrid version with a 3 kW inverter and battery bank.
